This place is also called the ‘Pakshi Kashi’ of Karnataka. It is the largest bird sanctuary in the state and is spread across 40 acres. Hundreds of Bird-enthusiasts, tourists visit Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary every day. It is crowded during the migration season of birds. It is about 18 kms. from Mysore.
