Chamundi Hills is a world famous sight which is 1,065 meters above the sea level. It is just 3 kms. from the city. The Chamundeshwari temple which is situated on top of the hill is said to have been there since the 11th century. Halfway up the hill, you will find a monolithic idol of bull, which is called Nandi. The view of Mysuru from atop the hill is truly a visual treat.
